🌈 Handmade wooden portable chalkboard

✨The chalkboard is made of two rectangular pieces of pine plywood jointed together by two small golden metal hinges (19 cm x 12.5 cm / 7.5 in x 5 in). We hand cut and sand each piece with lot of care and attention to create a smooth surface.

The inner side shows a double chalkboard offering ample space for drawing with chalks.
To create the chalkboard we hand paint one side of the plywood with chalkboard black paint.

The outer side is decorated with resistant paper featuring a squirrel holding an acorn.
The back is decorated with the same paper featuring trees and leaves. The design of the back can vary slightly (featuring more trees or leaves depending on the drawings on the paper) but it is always the same paper. 🙂

How to use: just wipe away with a damp cloth and the chalkboard it’s ready for the next creation!

This chalkboard was created with the idea of giving children an alternative to screens when travelling. Just like carrying a regular book, it is light and fits perfectly in children’s backpacks.
